Smita Salgaonkar leaves Media.Monks to join Google Cloud

Smita Salgaonkar, the Country Manager for Data and Digital Media at Media.Monks India, has left the company to join Google Cloud.

Without revealing specific details about her role at Google, she mentioned on LinkedIn that her responsibilities will include driving Google Cloud’s marketing technology, its applications in customer centricity and its impact on profitability and business outcomes.

Salgaonkar added, “Google Cloud has always been an exceptional platform to build low-effort, high-scale applications. I hope we can apply this agility to make customer data more accessible across the organisation and more valuable when activated outside of it.”

Salgaonkar became part of Media.Monks in 2019, after her tenure at Omnicom Media Group. Her professional journey has included previous roles at dunnhumby, Vserv.Mobi, HDMessaging, and People Interactive.
