Shagun Seda, Director of Marketing at Netflix India, has quit the company. She was associated with the global OTT major for more than two years.
At Netflix, she led teams across brand, film and series marketing in addition to being on the country marketing leadership team.
Announcing the development, she wrote on LinkedIn, “It's been two weeks since my last day at Netflix and I got home from a short vacation to this lovely little surprise. Thank you, team Netflix for this farewell memory and for all the memories of a lifetime. It’s been an enriching journey of learning, of wins, of being part of a collective stubborn determination to do our best against challenges. I am grateful for the opportunity to lead the efforts in making Netflix a more relatable brand for Indian consumers and incredibly proud of the work and impact we created as the Film and Series Marketing team in snagging the streaming audience’s attention.”
Seda is a brand and content marketing expert with 19 years of experience in launching, building and growing global brands and businesses across media and entertainment, consumer tech, FMCG, Automotive, personal care, food and beverage, fashion and lifestyle and financial services companies.
Prior to this, Seda spent 17 years in creative leadership roles at DDB Mudra and TBWA\India. In her last role at DDB Mudra, she was the Creative Head for West. Seda was the Creative Director at TBWA\India.
Seda is a recipient of multiple global and local awards for effectiveness and creative impact including the prestigious Cannes Lions, One Show, Clio, D&AD, Spikes Asia, Kyoorius, Effies, AdStars and WARC among others. She has served as a jury member on many creative and marketing effectiveness awards committees.
