IPL 2024: JioCinema offers FCT on mobile at Rs 16 lakh per 10 secs for LIVE matches

Three months ahead of the 2024 season of the IPL tournament, JioCinema has started floating rate cards among its advertisers.

According to the rate card seen by BestMediaInfo.com, the digital media rights holder of the tournament has pitched the FCT rate of Rs 16,00,000 per 10 seconds for LIVE matches across the web including handheld devices (HHWeb).

This rate is at par with the LIVE TV advertising rates of 2023.

A 10-seconder FCT close to live (CTL) will cost Rs 8,00,000 for advertisers.

JioCinema has increased the CTV ad rates by 8% as it is asking for Rs 6,50,000 for a 10-second ad during LIVE matches.

The FCT rates for 10 seconds during close to live (CTL) will cost Rs 3,25,000.

Pre and post-LIVE FCT rates are pegged at Rs 1,25,000 per 10 seconds.

The CPM rates on CTV go as high as Rs 600 for targeted preroll ads. For non-targeted preroll ads (ROS) and midroll ads will cost Rs 480 per CPM.

The CPM rates for VODs on CTV will cost Rs 360 and Rs 420 for ROS and targeted ads.

JioCinema has reduced the CPM rates on HHWeb for VODs by 20-25%. A 10-second ROS ad will cost Rs 150 per CPM while it will cost Rs 175 and Rs 200 for targeted ads.

In IPL 2023, the basic pre and post-live mid-rolls were pegged at Rs 200/CPM for ROS  ads and Rs 250/CPM for targeted ads.

The CPM ad rates for LIVE matches on HHWeb have also been reduced by 10% for non-targeted ads.

A ROS ad during LIVE matches will cost Rs 200 against last year’s CPM rate of Rs 225.

JioCinema is offering two layers of targeting this year.

The first layer of targeting (L1) will cost Rs 250 per CPM while the L2 Targeted ad is pegged at Rs 300 per CPM.
