Viacom18 Digital Ventures' Senior VP and Business Head Chanpreet Arora resigns

Chanpreet Arora has moved on from her role as Senior VP and Business Head at Viacom18 Digital Ventures (AVOD).

Highly placed sources in the industry have confirmed this development to BestMediaInfo.

Arora used to head the AVOD of JioCinema's Entertainment advertiser led business at Viacom18 Digital Ventures. She was associated with the company for two years and nine months.

Before taking on this position, she was affiliated with Internews Europe and served as a Board Member.

With a career spanning over 20 years, Arora has worked with Ernst and Young as Senior Manager - Media, Entertainment and Sports, and Metis Learning as Co-founder. She was also associated with Times Internet as Head - Revenue Strategy and Sales Operations.

In 2017, Arora was appointed as the CEO of Vice Media, India. Later, she joined Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism as a fellow journalist in 2019.
