hoichoi unveils trailer of ‘Parnashavarir Shaap’

The series will premiere on hoichoi on November 10

Hoichoi unveiled the trailer for their upcoming web series, Parnasavarir Shaap, based on Souvik Chakraborty's novel of the same title. The series is directed by Parambrata Chattopadhyay.

This series will mark the beginning of Chiranjeet Chakrabarti’s journey on hoichoi and features Surangana Bandyopadhyay, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Anindita Bose and Arna Mukhopadhyay.

The story takes off with Amiya, Mitul, Pallab, and Titas, who embark on a serene journey to Chamakpur, but their idyllic vacation takes a sinister turn as eerie occurrences plague their stay. Mitul's strange behaviour hints at a malevolent force lurking, casting a chilling atmosphere over their once-tranquil getaway. Desperate to combat this dark presence, they seek the help of occult expert, Niren Bhaduri. Together, they unearth ancient secrets, leading to a sinister past and a menacing curse. Racing against time, they must confront the ferocious entity and save their loved ones.

Chakrabarti said, “The idea of bringing Bhaduri Moshai to life was challenging yet exciting. Besides the story has huge potential and had to be told properly. I am glad Param took this up and I could be a part of this show, which if successful, can become a franchise for hoichoi. The Teaser garnered magnificent traction hence, we have a lot of hope for the Trailer, as it will give us a clear idea on how the show will perform!”

Chattopadhyay said, “I am so happy Souvik entrusted me with this story since it was unnerving even to read. We had a big responsibility to bring on screen the cinematic impact it deserves! The goal is to either keep people glued to their screens or lose some days of sleep after watching the cast’s flawless performance in the show. I can’t wait for the audience to start streaming the show from 10th November, it’s a Bhoot Chaturdashi special release on hoichoi.”
