India wins two Silver as WARC Awards for Effectiveness 2023 announces the first winners

India has won two Silver accolades at the WARC Awards for Effectiveness 2023, which is presented in association with Cannes Lions.

DDB Mudra Group, Mumbai won the Silver for ‘Breaking Taboos By Breaking Silence’ campaign for Stayfree in the Brand Purpose category. Further, EssenceMediacom, Mumbai/Leo Burnett, Gurgaon jointly won the Silver for The Missing Chapter campaign for Whisper in the Cultural Impact category.

Honouring the best ideas that deliver business results, the first winners have been announced for the WARC Awards for Effectiveness 2023 in association with LIONS.

13 Silver and 16 Bronze accolades have been awarded in this international competition, now in its third year.

The United Kingdom and the United States have each won six awards, Canada has won four, and the United Arab Emirates three. India, Saudi Arabia and Sweden have each won two. Brazil, New Zealand, The Philippines, and first-time winner Nigeria, have all picked up one award.

The seven jury panels, made up of 80 industry experts from around the world, followed the judging process using the Creative Effectiveness and the B2B Effectiveness Ladders, providing a consistent approach and global language to benchmark effectiveness.
