Three news channels – Times Now Navbharat, Aaj Tak and News Nation – bought DD Freedish MPEG-2 slots on Sunday by placing bids in the third round for Bucket A for which the base price started at Rs 13 crore.
While Times Now Navbharat bought the slot for Rs 15.15 crore, News Nation spent Rs 15.05 crore.
Aaj Tak was the last news channel to pick a DD Freedish slot for Rs 15.1 crore.
With this, nine news channels have bought DD Freedish slots each spending in the excess of Rs 14.55 crore.

Earlier, on Thursday, five slots of Bucket C were sold to Republic Bharat (Rs 16.55), TV9 Bharatvarsh (Rs 14.55 crore), Zee News (Rs 15.5 crore), NDTV India (Rs 16.55 crore) and News18 India (Rs 19.85 crore).
ABP News Friday bought a slot for Rs 17.1 crore.
