Video streaming platform Netflix has announced that its global virtual fan event – ‘Tudum’, will be held on September 24.
The event is much-awaited by fans as it showcases exclusive news, never-before-seen footage, trailers, and first looks at Netflix’s upcoming shows and movies.
As per Netflix, the event can be watched virtually anywhere across its YouTube channels.
The event comes at an interesting time as the platform is all set to announce its earnings report for the second quarter ending June 2022. It has been expecting a revenue of 9.7% in this quarter.
Netflix has also recently partnered with Microsoft to power its ad-supported subscription model. In April, the OTT platform had announced it will roll out a new lower-priced ad-supported subscription plan for consumers.
Netflix has been struggling as the rising cost of living is pushing a lot of its subscribers to move away from the platform and it lost two million subscribers in the first quarter of 2021.
