India TV holds No. 1 spot in 15+ age group in rolling Week 25 of 2022

After the legacy Hindi news channels – India TV, Aaj Tak and News18 India – reclaimed top positions in Week 23, the battle for the top position intensified in Week 25 with the lead margin between India TV and Aaj Tak reducing to 0.2%.

In rolling week 25’22 (HSM market, NCCS: All, 15+ Yrs, 15 news channels), India TV retained its relative share at 12.7% along with the top slot. 

Aaj Tak’s relative share grew 0.3%, further narrowing the gap to 0.2% from India TV. The channel recorded a relative share of 12.5%.

News18 India also held on to the No. 3 position despite losing further on relative share. The channel has recorded a relative share of 11.3%.

By adding 0.4% in its relative share, Republic Bharat rose to No. 4. The channel’s relative share stood at 10.4%.

The relative share of TV9 Bharatvarsh continues to decline sharply. The channel now is at No. 5 with a relative share of 10.2% (-0.9%).

Zee News too is consistently gaining its relative share. The channel, at No. 6, has a relative share of 8.6%.

Times Now Navbharat sits at No. 7 with a relative share of 7%.

ABP News also got a higher relative share. The channel remained at No. 8 with a relative share of 6.1% (up 0.2%).

News Nation at No. 9 recorded a relative share of 5.6%.

Good News Today retained the No. 10 position with 4.9% of relative share.

Zee Hindustan and News24 were at No. 11 and No. 12 with 4.1% and 3.5% relative shares, respectively.

India News was at No. 13 with 2.2% relative share followed by DD News and Samay with 0.9% and 0.1% of relative share, respectively.
