Titus Upputuru, National Creative Director and Ayesha Ghosh, Chief Executive Officer at Taproot Dentsu have quit the agency.
Confirming the development to BestMediaInfo.com, Amit Wadhwa, CEO, dentsu Creative India, said, “Both Ayesha and Titus are great talents, and I am thankful to them for all their contributions at dentsu. Ghosh was promoted as CEO in June 2021. Before that, she was heading the Mumbai office.
Upputuru was recently promoted as NCD in March 2022, along with Aalap Desai, who was made Chief Creative Officer for Taproot Dentsu, a dentsuMB company.
With Upputuru’s elevation, he was given the charge of the agency's Gurgaon creative team and was reporting to Desai. Upputuru was also entrusted with the additional charge of leading integrated solutions for Dentsu Creative India. In this role, he was reporting to Ajay Gahlaut, dentsu’s Group Chief Creative Officer.
Upputuru joined dentsu Marcom in 2009 as Creative Head. He then went on to join Saatchi & Saatchi as Executive Creative Director in 2010. Later, he returned to dentsu Marcom as Executive Creative Director in 2011.
Previously, Upputuru was Senior Creative Director at O&M Delhi. Upputuru started his career as a copy trainee at Madhyam DMB&B (now Publicis India). After briefly joining Trikaya Grey (now Grey Worldwide), he worked for TBWA India (then TBWA Anthem) for five years. He joined Ogilvy in 2003.
At Taproot, Ghosh was responsible for both Mumbai and Gurgaon offices. She joined Taproot Dentsu in December 2015.
