Star Plus grabs top spot in the Urban Market while Sony Entertainment Television drops to second position. Zee TV maintains its second spot in the Urban+Rural markets.

GEC Watch: Star Plus bags lead position in Urban market in Week 4

Star Plus witnessed a growth in its ranking as it grabbed the top spot in the Urban market and the third position in the Urban+Rural market in Week 4. On the BARC's GEC chart, Sony Entertainment Television slipped to the second position in the Urban market. Zee Anmol maintained its lead position in the Urban+Rural and Rural markets.

Top channels in U+R market

According to BARC data, India HSM (Urban+Rural): NCCS All: 2+ Individuals, for Week 4 (January 19- January 25) of 2018, Zee Anmol at the No. 1 position clocked 751.727 million Impressions (last week 757.413 million Impressions). Zee TV maintained the second spot with 670.312 million Impressions (last week 665.067 million Impressions).  Star Plus jumped to the third spot with 660.831 million Impressions (last week 608.526 million Impressions) while Star Bharat slipped to the fourth position with 657.509 million Impressions (last week 614.551 million Impressions). Star Utsav with 636.782 million Impressions (last week 599.682 million Impressions) stayed at fifth, followed by Colors with 601.403 million Impressions (last week 593.812 million Impressions).

Sony Entertainment Television with 588.888 million Impressions (last week 579.683 million Impressions) maintained the seventh rank. Sony Pal stayed at eighth with 484.160 million Impressions (last week 510.981 million Impressions). Dangal TV followed at ninth rank with 479.376 million Impressions (last week 481.266 million Impressions) and Rishtey at 10th position with 430.435 million Impressions (last week 474.457 million Impressions).

Colors’ non-fiction show Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi Jigar Pe Trigger grabbed the first rank with 13.696 million Impressions (last week 13.513 million Impressions). Zee Anmol’s Kundali Bhagya moved up to the second spot with 13.516 million Impressions (last week 13.210 million Impressions). Colors' Naagin 3 slipped to the third spot, logging 13.469 million Impressions (last week 13.633 million Impressions) while Zee Anmol's Kumkum Bhagya stayed at the fourth position, registering 12.091 million Impressions (last week 11.778 million Impressions). Star Bharat's RadhaKrishn maintained its fifth rank with 11.359 million Impressions (last week 10.923 million Impressions)
