Sumanta Bose replaces Narayan Sundararaman as Star Plus GM

Star India has appointed Star Jalsha GM Sumanta Bose as General Manager for Star Plus. Bose will continue to manage Jalsha till his successor is announced. He will report to Amit Chopra, Chief Executive Officer of Entertainment. The announcement was made by Chopra in an internal email today.

Bose is replacing Narayan Sundararaman who has moved on from Star Plus after one and half years with the channel.

Bose joined Star in 2011 as the Marketing Head on Star Jalsha and became its GM in 2015. Prior to joining Star, Bose has worked with premier consumer brands like Airtel, HDFC, Tata Teleservices and Philips Electrolux Electronics.
