TV Today Network makes two senior management appointments

Delhi: TV Today Network has announced the appointment of Rudra Kasturi as Chief Strategy Officer (Digital Business) and Shailesh Shekhar as Chief Synergy Officer, effective from June 1, 2024.

Both are designated as the senior management personnel of the Company.

Kasturi has over two decades of experience in digital transformation and strategic leadership. He has expertise in search, audience development, revenue growth and partnerships. 

Prior to his current role, Kasturi held significant positions at organisations including Times Group, Byju's Group, Snapdeal, Amazon, and Yahoo. 

Until January 2024, he was the Business Head of Digital Innovations at Bennett Coleman & Co.

Furthermore, he has consulting experience with Tencent, Anther, PickYourTrail and various other global companies.

Shekhar is a media professional with over three decades of active journalism across print, television and digital businesses. 

He started his career as a correspondent with daily newspapers and moved to work with TV News channels in the mid-90s when television was taking shape in India. 

Over the last 20 years, he has been leading digital businesses for media companies in India and Microsoft Start's (MSN) global content ecosystem. 

In his last job, he was the APAC Regional Director at Microsoft Start. 

In his earlier stint with India Today Group (lTG), Shekhar worked with its digital business as COO and Editor. He has also worked at BCCL, HT Media, and BiTV.
