New Delhi: Times Network Managing Director and CEO MK Anand's management contract term with Bennett Coleman and Co. (BCCL) is coming to an end after over a decade.
Anand was set to superannuate later this year.
Today, he disengaged with the industry bodies he was associated with, industry sources informed BestMediaInfo.com
Anand returned to BCCL in January 2014 as MD and CEO of Times Network taking over from Sunil Lulla.
Anand had joined Times Network from the Disney UTV group.
In his first two-decade-long stint with The Times of India group, Anand first spent 14 years with the print business and later about five years with the television business at zoOm from 2004 to 2009.
Times Network is learnt to be in search of Anand’s replacement.
Over the past decade, Anand led the Times Network’s TV and digital businesses from the front when Arnab Goswami posed challenges in front of the group after resigning from Times Now as Editor-in-Chief.
Anand added two new channels – ET Now Swadesh and Times Now Navbharat.
Anand played active roles in various industry bodies.
