Delhi: Exploring the tapestry of Bihar's spiritual heritage, a four-part documentary series, Buddha Circuit capturing the life and teachings of Lord Buddha is set to premiere on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 5PM on History TV18. 

The series opens with an exploration of Bodhgaya, the town where Gautam Buddha attained enlightenment under the venerable Bodhi tree. Here, meditation styles converge, each aiming to offer a route to self-discovery and inner peace. 

The documentary takes audiences to Nalanda University, an ancient seat of learning where wisdom once flourished.  The documentary shines the light on Nalanda’s intellectual legacy, and its profound impact on the pursuit of knowledge. Vikramshila University in Bhagalpur is also unveiled, standing as a testament to the eternal quest for spiritual exploration and enlightenment.

Traversing the Ganga, the series explores Vaishali, where monuments like the Ashokan Pillar and Ashoka Chakra - India’s national emblem, and the Buddha’s Relic Stupa, which houses the remnants of the Enlightened One.
