TCS, HDFC, Airtel, Infosys make it to ‘Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Global Brands’ list

Kantar's 2024 top 100 list featured nine new entrants, including Lululemon at 92 and ADP, which is the highest-ranked newcomer at 44. Additionally, four brands made a return to the top 100 after a hiatus: Dell Technologies, Aldi, Pinduoduo, and HSBC

New Delhi: In 2024, four Indian brands secured spots on the Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Global Brands list, collectively amassing a brand value exceeding $130 billion.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) emerged as the most valuable Indian brand, ranking 46th globally with a valuation of $44.79 billion. HDFC Bank followed closely at 47th with a brand value of around $43 billion.

Airtel was listed as the 73rd most valuable brand with an approximate valuation of $25 billion, and Infosys secured the 74th position with a brand value of around $24 billion.

TCS saw a 7% growth in its brand value over the year. 

Sumit Virmani, Executive Vice-President and Global Chief Marketing Officer at Infosys, commented on their performance, "Even through a tough year of disruption and volatility globally, we stayed focused on delivering on our brand promise and let our purpose point the way for Infosys. For the first time, the combined brand value of the top 10 brands equaled that of the remaining 90. Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and McDonald’s maintained their top positions. Notably, Oracle debuted in the top 10 at the 9th spot, and Facebook re-entered the top 10, ranking 8th.
