Abhilasha Anish promoted to Marketing Head, Disney+ Hotstar (South) and Star Vijay

Delhi: Abilasha Anish has been promoted by Disney Star to the role of Head of Marketing for Disney+ Hotstar (South) and Star Vijay. She announced this development in a recent LinkedIn post.

Anish has contributed to the network for the past five years, beginning in 2019 as the head of marketing for Star Vijay. Her role expanded in 2021 when she assumed responsibility as the marketing director for Disney+ Hotstar's Tamil and Malayalam markets.

Prior to her tenure at Disney Star, Anish held the position of head of brand strategy and marketing at The Hindu in 2016. She commenced her career at The Times Group and has gained experience with organisations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, FCB Interface, and Butterfly.
