Delhi: Nimisha Pandey, the Chief Content Officer for Hindi Originals at Zee5, has resigned from her position.

Pandey joined Zee5 in early 2021, following her role as the Director of International Originals at Netflix, where she served for nearly two years.

Her departure contributes to the recent wave of changes in Zee's leadership. This includes the recent exit of Rahul Johri as President of Business, Zee, in March, and the resignation of Punit Misra, President of Content and International Markets.

Pandey's journey in the entertainment industry began in television as a creative executive. She then diversified her expertise by taking on roles as a director and programming head. In 2017, she ventured into the digital realm by spearheading the launch of ALTBalaji. Throughout her career, Pandey has been associated with renowned production houses such as 4 Lions Films and Firework Productions.

An alumna of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pandey boasts over 20 years of extensive experience across various facets of the entertainment industry.
