Delhi: Krishan Bhatia who previously led as a senior executive at NBCUniversal (NBCU) of the company’s ad-sales division, is joining Amazon as vice-president of global video advertising for Amazon Ads.

According to media reports, in his new role, he will be responsible for leading global sales efforts aimed at monetising Amazon's expanding video operations, which include sports, Freevee, Twitch, and Prime Video. He will report to Alan Moss, the Vice President of Global Ad Sales.
Bhatia served at NBCUniversal for 13 years and his responsibilities included developing new systems of audience measurement. He also worked on building new revenue systems and infrastructure. During his time at the company, Bhatia had the opportunity to scale the ad-supported streaming service Peacock, and develop the company's first-party data and identity platform NBCUnified.
Bhatia was known to be a confidant of Linda Yaccarino, the former NBCU ad-sales chairman who is now CEO of the social-media outlet known as X, reports stated.
