Cannes Lions 2024: India end campaign with 18 medals; bags 2 silver, 2 bronze Lions on final day

Cannes: India bagged two Silver Glass Lions and two Sustainable Development Bronze Lions on the last day of Cannes Lions 2024 on Friday to end its outing with 18 Lions.
This year, India earned 2 Gold, 7 Silver and 9 Bronze at Cannes 2024.
Day 5 honoured bronze and silver lions in the categories of Film Lions, Sustainable Development Goals Lions, Glass: The Award for Change and Titanium Lions.
Leo Burnett bagged a silver glass lion for ‘Project Farm Equal’ campaign for Lay’s.
McCann bagged a bronze lion in the Sustainable Development Goals category for ‘Dabba Savings Account’ campaign for ESAF Financial Bank.
Leo Burnett also bagged a bronze in the Sustainable Development Goals category for ‘Drops Of Joy’ campaign for Lay’s.
India had no winners in the Film Lions category, though Brand David Communications had one shortlist in that category.
It is to be noted that McCann, Leo Burnett and tgthr, each had one shortlist in the Glass: The Lion For Change category and out of the three shortlists in this category, two of them bagged metals.
Leo Burnett had 3 shortlists in the Sustainable Development Goals category while McCann had 2 shortlists in the same.
For the first time, Cannes Lions has decided to announce the Silver and Bronze winners at 2:30 pm each day before the evening gala event, where the Gold, Grand Prix, and Special Awards winners will be revealed.
