BARC India’s Chief of Measurement Science and Business Analytics Derrick Gray has stepped down after spending about six years with the joint industry body set up for the television audience measurement.
He had joined BARC in August 2018.
Gray is currently serving his notice and will be with BARC till the end of May 2024, sources informed BestMediaInfo.com.
At BARC, Gray oversaw the Measurement Science, Business & Market Analytics, and Product Leadership & Excellence (Linear and Digital) departments.
He was responsible for the scientific integrity and robustness of all of BARC India's audience estimates and products.
Gray has over 24 years of global experience in audience measurement and audience information systems for various media including Linear Television, Digital Video and Radio. Dr Gray holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Athabasca University in Canada where his award-winning research focused on Digital Innovation and the application of Big Data within the Media Industry.
Derrick has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Marketing Research and Intelligence Associate (MRIA) of Canada.
