News18 Kannada to present Varshada Kannadiga 2024 on February 27

News18 Kannada is all set to host the 21st edition of its event, ‘Varshada Kannadiga 2024’.

The event will take place on February 27, 2024 in the presence of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and aims to recognise the outstanding contributions and achievements made by Kannadigas from various fields.

Conceived in 2003, over the years, Varshada Kannadiga award recipients have included personalities such as Rajkumar, Veerendra Hegde, Ravishankar Guruji, Gangubai Hanagal, and Shivaraj Kumar, among others.

The upcoming edition of News18 Kannada Varshada Kannadiga will feature a jury panel from diverse fields, tasked with selecting the best of Karnataka. The Jury includes Justice Gopal Gowda, Retired Supreme Court Judge, as Jury Chair; B. Dayanand, Bengaluru City Police Commissioner; K Govindaraj, President of FIBA Asia; D. Muralidhar, Former FKCCI President; Shivanand Kalave, Veteran Journalist; Vasantha Kumari, Retired Group Director from U.R Rao Satellite Centre; and Meghana Raj, Actress.

The event aims to have performances from Sandalwood celebs and artists.
