News18 India continues at the top in Ram Mandir consecration week

In the week of the historic inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, News18 India continued to be the No. 1 Hindi news channel, according to the rolled data released by BARC India for Week 4 (average of Week 1-4) of 2024.

The channel issued a front-page advertisement in The Economic Times and Indian Express on February 7.

In a press statement, News18 India attributed this success to the programming line-up and its anchors on ground in Ayodhya including Kishore Ajwani, Amish Devgan, Prateek Trivedi, Aman Chopra, Rubika Liyaquat and Pankaj Bhargav.

“Multiple locations were used including a grand set that was built on the banks of the Saryu to capture the true essence of the festivities happening all around Ayodhya. From a Kavi Sammelan and on-ground events to documentaries, different formats were used to create really riveting programming. Innovative production techniques and graphics were used to deliver an enhanced viewer experience,” the channel said.
