News18 Network on Monday announced the consolidation of its Indian-language businesses and named Mitul Sangani as the CEO, including the Hindi cluster.
He was spearheading the regional language cluster as CEO.
In his new role, Sangani will lead all the television channels and digital properties in Hindi along with other regional languages (now categorised as the Indian languages businesses). The Hindi cluster includes channels such as News18 India, News18 Rajasthan, News18 MP/Chhattisgarh, News18 Bihar Jharkhand, News18 UP/Uttarakhand, and News18 Punjab/Haryana/Himachal.
The news network also announced the appointment of Munish Atrey as the Chief Revenue Officer for the Indian languages businesses which includes the Hindi and Regional Clusters.
Atrey will report to Sangani.
Atrey is a 25-year veteran of media sales, with experience spanning organisations such as Indian Express, Radio Today, the Times Group and the ABP Group.
