Kartik Kalla joins Saregama India as VP-Music

Kartik Kalla has joined Saregama India as Vice-President - Music. He was previously working with Radio City as Chief Creative Officer (COO).

"I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President - Music at Saregama India," Kalla wrote on Linkedin.

In his new role, Kalla will be driving the content strategy and acquisitions for film and non-film music in languages like Hindi, Haryanvi, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Marathi, Gujarati, Devotional etc.

In October 2023, Kalla resigned from Radio City and his association with the company spanned more than 15 years, during which he was promoted to the role of COO in June 2018, having previously served as EVP and National Head for Programming, Marketing and AudaCity.

Notably, Kalla played a pivotal role in the launch of AudaCity and had a brief stint at Big FM before joining Radio City in 2008.

Prior to his radio career, he worked at various advertising agencies, including Leo Burnett, McCann, Publicis, and Contract Advertising.
