Gautam Sinha, the former CEO of Times Internet, has launched a new artificial intelligence (AI) venture called SimpleO.ai. The company will help enterprises to streamline contract management.
SimpleO aims to utilise the power of generative AI to offer a dashboard that handles the myriad aspects of contract management for enterprises, including risks, obligations, service-level agreements, audits, compliance, and governance requirements associated with the extensive volume of contracts.
SimpleO.ai is backed by entrepreneurs and investors such as Satyan Gajwani from Times Internet, Sahil Barua and Mohit Tandon from Delhivery, among others.
Sinha said, “With the maturing of GenAI, we saw an opportunity to radically simplify the entire lifecycle and manageability of contracts by building a legal-grade GenAI product suite. SimpleO strives to infuse simplicity into the core of corporate operations, offering an innovative solution for the efficient and effective management of contract lifecycles. We believe that tackling this challenge will contribute to the overall efficiency and success of organisations, allowing them to focus on what matters the most.”
Sinha was associated with Times Internet until March 2022. He was appointed as CEO of Times Internet in April 2016. He joined the company in 2007 and served in the roles of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer.
Before that, he worked at CashEdge Inc., Sevant Inc., Aspect Telecommunications and Neural Applications Corporation in the US.
