Former Executive Creative Director at Enormous, Ashish Kharwatkar, has launched his own independent creative agency- Fun Intended Advertising and Stuff.
Although the name of the agency has been finalised only recently, the agency has been working on various brands and clients since 2020, including Lenskart, NoBroker, Edelweiss, Springfit, Skoda Slavia, etc.
Kharwatkar took to LinkedIn to announce the same. In his post, he mentioned, “Happy Republic Day, to everyone. Happy Independence Day to me! Happy to share that I’m now the Founder and Chief Creative at Fun Intended Advertising and Stuff!"
He also mentioned that after spending over 21 years at some of India's and one of Sri Lanka's leading advertising agencies, he started working independently and directly with Advertising Clients, Brand Teams, Producers, Directors, Photographers and other creators in 2020.
“At Fun Intended, I collaborate with and lead a group of individuals, who work independently, and come together as and when the brief arises. Every one of us has significant Industry and Agency experience, and expertise in a variety of skills in Advertising. From Copywriting to Creative Direction. Strategy to Art Direction. Ideation to Final Execution. Be it Film, Print, Radio, Digital or Social Media. A single piece of creative or a full-fledged campaign,” he added.
Prior to the official launch of Fun Intended, Kharwatkar had been working independently after calling it a day as the Executive Creative Director at Enormous. He was with the creative agency for six months starting December 2022.
Before that, he was with McCann Worldgroup for one-and-a-half years starting June 2019 as Executive Creative Director, Creative Director and Copywriter.
From March 2015 to May 2019, he was associated with Dentsu Aegis Network as Group Creative Director, Copywriter and Creative Strategist; DDB Mudra group as Creative Director and Copywriter for two years starting January 2013; MullenLowe Lintas Group as Creative Director and Copywriter for close to three-and-a-half years starting September 2009.
In the past, Kharwatkar has also worked with Grey Group, Enterprise Nexus, DDB Asia, FCB Ulka and Dattaram Advertising.
