Zomato strikes the patriotic chord perfectly in its recent billboard at India-Pak border

Known for its on-point and viral-going creativity on various advertising mediums, Zomato has now set up a billboard near the army outpost on India-Pak border in Punjab, commonly known as the Wagah Border

Zomato set up an outdoor billboard near the Wagah Border, Punjab as the nation celebrated the 74th Republic Day.

The billboard has a patriotic tone to it, and it reads- “Zor se India-India chillana doston, kal adrak wali chai hum le ayenge”.

The platform once again played on the moment marketing trend and in a way tried to stir a feeling of a patriotism at the Wagah Border.

It is to be noted that this billboard comes at a time when the announcement of another probable blockbuster faceoff between India and Pakistan came in for the Asia Cup 2023 - as both the teams have been placed in the same group.

The food delivery, dining and restaurant discovery platform is known for carrying out ad campaigns that tend to go ‘viral’ - owing to its copywriting, out of the box thinking, and on-point creativity, along with the ‘humoristic’ or ‘moment-based’ content.

Quite recently, Zomato’s Instagram collaboration with BlinkIt had taken the internet by storm wherein both the brands had given a food-y rendition to iconic Bollywood dialogues - including ‘Tum doodh mangoge, hum Kheer denge!’

The ‘insta collab featuring a billboard collab’ had then kickstarted a contest through their story, wherein various brands had picked up on the trend and uses their creative geekiness to latch on to Zomato x BlinkIt’s ‘Doodh mangoge, doodh denge’ and ‘Kheer mangoge, kheer denge’.
