82.5 Communication's Kapil Arora to join Ogilvy Indonesia

After being associated with Ogilvy Group as the Co-Chairman and CEO of 82.5 Communication since August 2019, Kapil Arora, has now decided to move on and join Ogilvy Indonesia.

Highly placed sources in the industry have confirmed the news to BestMediaInfo.com.

At the time of his joining, Arora was tasked with leading and growing the 82.5 brand and business in India.

Prior to assuming his role at 82.5 Communications, he was associated with Ogilvy India for over fifteen-and-a-half years during which he served across various roles such as President- Ogilvy Group Companies (North) for more than six-and-a-half years starting February 2013 and President and Country Head- Team Vodafone for more than nine years since 2004.

He also served as a Business Consultant at BCCL Corporate Group during which he was involved in putting together the business case for the launch of TOI's Chennai edition and a number of revenue optimisation projects for the print and radio businesses.

In his first stint with Ogilvy, he served the role of Account Supervisor for a period of nearly two and a half years starting from September 2000.

Previously, he also worked with Enterprise Nexus as an Account Executive for a span of one-and-a-half years.
