Wavemaker's Amrita Choudhary joins Disney Star as Head of Media and Partnerships

Amrita Choudhary, formerly the Managing Partner at Wavemaker India, has been appointed as the Head of Media and Partnerships at Disney Star.

She recently updated this career move on LinkedIn.

According to her LinkedIn profile, in her prior position as Managing Partner at Wavemaker (GroupM), Amrita Choudhary oversaw 60% of the West region.

This marked her second tenure with GroupM, initially joining Maxus as Senior Director of Investment.

By September 2017, she had ascended to the role of General Manager at Wavemaker India before being promoted to the Managing Partner position in September 2022.

Prior to her time with Wavemaker, during her stint at Sony, Choudhary held a pivotal role in Channel Marketing with Sony Max.

In her earlier tenure with GroupM, she served as the Investment Director at Maxus.

She has worked on brands such as Netflix, Grasim Paints, Dream11, Red Bull, Zydus Pharma, Kimberly Clark, Natural Diamond Council, Sun Pharma, Tata Play, Tinder, Platinum Guild, Lupin Pharma, Tata Play, Kotak Bank, Sun Pharma, First Cry and others.

In the past, she has worked with Star India and DNA.
