After being associated with Intel India for a period of over five years, Gayatri Makhijani Ray, Head- Brand, Creative and Media at Intel India has decided to call it a day at the tech conglomerate.

Announcing the move on LinkedIn, she mentioned, “After 5 years of ‘Doing Something Wonderful,’ I’m saying goodbye to the amazing team at Intel.”

“Through Covid and the dominance of the PC, aggressive chip wars and the mainstay of AI; the rapid adoption of the podcast and the necessity of Whatsapp- it’s been exciting to play my role in steering Intel’s legacy through truly dynamic marketing times. I’m fortunate to carry with me not just fond memories and sage advice, but also mentors, partners and friendships for life!” she added.

In her 5 years long stint at Intel India, she worked across Intel India’s B2B and B2C product portfolio including PCs, Gaming, SMB, AI, Cloud and her focus areas included Brand GTM, Creative and Media Agency Relationship leadership, Multi-Media Strategy and Buying, Social Media, Strategy and Listening, Influencer Marketing and Cross-Geo Collaboration at both APAC region and the Company Headquarter along with managing Media, Creative and Digital Agency Team.

Prior to joining Intel in October 2018, Ray was the Digital/Online Brand Manager at Amazon for over four years and a Senior Strategist at Yahoo! for nearly three-and-a-half-years from June 2011 to September 2014.

Earlier on, she was also associated with SapientNitro, Rediffusion Y&R and Tribal DDB as Digital Creative.
