After being associated with pet care major Heads Up For Tails for over two years, the brand’s Chief Marketing Officer, Samriddh Dasgupta, has decided to part ways with the organisation.

He announced the same via a LinkedIn post where he mentioned that being a part of HUFT wasn’t a mere job for him, but was something that actually defined him and gave him the space to create a new him. It gave me the space to tell meaningful stories, impact behaviour, culture, commerce and conversations,” he said.

“I leave with a lot of love. A lot of gratitude. Lifelong friends. The intensely rewarding, respectful and supportive relationship with Rashi Narang and the team. I leave with a very sad heart,” he mentioned.

Having said that he also emphasised that he will remain committed to animal welfare, as he was even before coming to HUFT in October 2021 as Chief Marketing Officer.

“I’m leaving because I need to do something even bigger. As I get older, there’s a stronger, more pronounced need to work on big problems that humans are facing in the world,” he said.

Prior to joining HUFT, he was the VP- Marketing and New Brands at Bombay Shaving Company for nine months. However, his stint with BSC began in June 2020 as Director- Marketing and New Initiatives.

For a period of more than a year, starting April 2019, he was also associated with Akiva as VP- Marketing. He was also designated as Aakash Digital’s Head of Marketing for seven months.

In the past, he also worked with Xynteo, Times Internet, abm Communication, Shooting Gallery Asia and The Princeton Review.
