9th edition of India Affiliate Summit commences

The India Affiliate Summit (IAS) commenced its 9th edition on October 11, 2023, at Gurugram.

The conference organised by the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) in collaboration with vCommission, powered by Valueleaf, brought to you by Shoogloo, in association with Admitad and Admattic, brought together on one platform stalwarts of the performance marketing ecosystem, and leading brands of the industry.

Srikanth Bureddy, Co-Founder, Valueleaf Group, moderated a panel discussion titled "Making Affiliate Marketing the Top Choice for Marketers." Panelists, including Parul Bhargava, Co-Founder and CEO of vCommission, and Neha Kulwal, Managing Director APAC and India, Admitad, delved into discussions on strategies to position affiliate marketing as the priority choice for today's marketers.

Bhargava said, “Having begun as an affiliate, I can affirm that affiliates are exceptional online entrepreneurs, adept at turning efforts into substantial gains. It's vital we emphasise affiliate marketing over mere performance marketing as it offers informed purchases through extensive content while potentially yielding returns. Kulwal said, “I believe in unwavering transparency with clients, a principle underpinned by investments in advanced technology. In my early endeavours, establishing transparent communication posed a significant challenge with clients. Presently, our focus is on delivering value enhancements to brands, fostering trust through clarity in attribution. A critical aspect of our mission involves the ongoing education of marketers and partners to ensure a thriving ecosystem.”

The session culminated with the launch of a thought leadership report titled India Affiliate Marketing: The 2023 Primer, produced jointly by IAMAI and KANTAR. The report provides a holistic picture of how the strategy of Affiliate Marketing is poised to pay rich dividends and contribute meaningfully to the sales of companies.

The spotlight session "You had me at ROI" shed light on the highest ROI Channel for brands in India. This engaging session was led by Rohan Bhargava, Co-founder of CashKaro and EarnKaro, providing attendees with invaluable insights into optimising returns on investment.
