The fintech unicorn Cred, founded by Kunal Shah, has now forayed into the business segment of vehicle management via the launch of Cred Garage.
To create a pre-buzz on social media, Cred stuck with its ‘innovative marketing and advertising’ strategy and came up with a slew of posts and videos which showcased vintage cars parked outside the Cred Headquarters as well as vehicles from iconic cartoons exiting the HQ

Confirming the development on Elon Musk-owned microblogging platform, X, Cred also launched the trailer film for the announcement highlighting the features of Cred Garage.
Through Cred Garage, users will be able to access the new dashboard under the new vertical on the mobile application and in turn be able to register their vehicles via typing in their vehicle number starting today.
Post the registration, users will not only get priority access to 24x7 concierge service which can aid one in maintenance, servicing and claim queries; but also receive reminders for pollution checks, insurance renewals, etc.; manage documents due to the integration with Digilocker; get insights on spending and buy motor insurance.
Apart from integrating Digilocker into the new vertical, Cred also allows users to recharge their vehicle’s FASTag directly from Cred Garage.
Prior to the launch of Cred Garage, the credit card company also launched four additional products- Cred Escapes which is a luxury travel platform, Cred Flash a BNPL product, a tap-to-pay offering for retail payments and Scan & Pay for UPI payments.
