Tinder’s General Manager, South Asia, South East Asia and Turkey, Taru Kapoor, has quit the company.
She was associated with the dating app for over eight years.
She joined Tinder and Match Group in August 2015 as General Manager to launch the platform in India.
She wrote on LinkedIn, After eight incredible years at Tinder and Match Group, it is time to say goodbye. As I wrap up over the coming days and weeks, my heart is filled with gratitude, pride and an absolute sense of amazement at the wonderful adventure. I worked alongside some amazing people from across the world and learnt how to lead and how to build campaigns, brands, businesses and teams.”
Before joining Tinder, she completed her MBA in General Management from Harvard Business School.
In the past, Kapoor has worked with Pocket Gems, Sequoia Capital India and The BCG Group.
