Star Pravah sets Guinness World Record ahead of 'Ved' movie's premiere on TV

Star Pravah has created a Guinness World record ahead of the premiere of Ved on the channel.

The channel used over 1446 umbrellas to form a heart shape as part of the promotions of the film.

The creation of this heart-shaped symbol epitomises the love story depicted in ‘Ved’, with the umbrellas representing an iconic scene from the movie.

‘Ved’ will premiere on August 20, 2023, at 7 pm. Subsequently, the movie will have its Hindi premiere on Star Gold on  August 27 at 8 pm.

The Guinness World Record event was orchestrated in the presence of the movie's director and actor, Riteish Deshmukh.

The film not only marks Deshmukh's directorial debut but also Genelia D’Souza's inaugural appearance in a Marathi film.

Deshmukh said, “Star Pravah has achieved a commendable feat by achieving a Guinness World Record for the world television premiere of Ved. This is a very proud moment for the entire Maharashtra and the first time ever for Marathi movie industry. Genelia & I are extremely grateful to Star Pravah for giving us such a precious moment.”

The channel said that it has onboarded a number of advertisers which include Philips, Wipro Consumer, Acko Insurance and Loreal.
