News18 Tamil Nadu honoured Madras Day with 'Enga ooru Madras' on-ground event.

The event's primary objective was to celebrate the essence of Madras, by delving into its historical significance, artistic expressions, and the memories that make the city an integral part of Tamil Nadu's identity.

News18 Tamil Nadu's 'Enga ooru Madras' event featured 20 personalities, a music troupe, and two anchors. The event explored Madras' cultural heritage and spirit.

The event was attended by invitees, including Jayakumar: Former Minister from ADMK (All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam); Deva: Music Director; Aishwarya Rajesh: Actress; Dushara: Actress; Amir: Director; Parthiban: Actor and Director; Velmurugan: Lyricist; Premji: Actor and Mayor; Priya: Mayor of Chennai.

The event took place at Anna Towers in Anna Nagar, Chennai. Members of the general public were also welcomed to join the event

The ‘Enga ooru Madras’ will be telecasted on News18 Tamil Nadu on August 22 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am and 9.00 pm to 10:00 pm.
