Godzilla bags Walkaroo's creative mandate

Walkaroo has onboarded Godzilla as its advertising and creative agency. The account was won following a multi-agency pitch.

Godzilla has been mandated to work on Walkaroo's domestic and international communication both mainline as well as digital communications.

Walkaroo, a homegrown footwear brand, was launched in the year 2012. During the financial year 22- 23, Walkaroo recorded a turnover of over Rs 2,072 crore. The brand has a pan-Indian presence through over 700 dealers and reaches out to customers through over one lakh retail outlets.

Rajesh Kurian, Director – Walkaroo International, said, “Godzilla was brought on board as the management saw freshness in their approach and a thorough understanding of the footwear category in their well-framed strategy and precise creative articulation of it in their work.”

Over the last few months, Godzilla has already rolled out mainline communication for the brand's holiday season,#WalkIndiaWalk and School Shoes and is currently working on many more campaigns that will see the light of day shortly.

On the social front, Godzilla is working with Walkaroo to increase its follower base with relevant and meaningful content.
