During the Prime Minister’s reply to the no-trust motion on Thursday, Aaj Tak yet again led the YouTube concurrent viewership for “primary feeds” by a huge margin. So much so that the channel’s YouTube concurrent viewership was nearly 10 times more than that of the second private news channel.
PM Modi gave an over 130-minute reply in the Lok Sabha to the no-confidence brought by Opposition parties.
Aaj Tak recorded 1,15,600 peak concurrent users (primary feeds) on YouTube Live on August 10 in the 5:00 pm to 7:20 pm time slot. It recorded an average concurrent viewership of 1,01,200.
The closest to Aaj Tak was Sansad TV with a peak concurrent viewership of 1,02,200 and average concurrent viewership of 86,800.
The second private Hindi news channel Republic Bharat garnered about one-tenth of Aaj Tak’s concurrent viewership. Republic Bharat recorded a peak concurrent viewership of 15,700 and an average of 12,700.
India TV recorded a peak concurrent viewership of 9,400 and its average concurrent viewership was 8,300.
ABP News touched a peak concurrent viewership of 4,400 while its average concurrent viewership was at 3,900.
TV9 Bharatvarsh recorded a peak concurrent viewership of 4,300 while its average concurrent viewership was 3,600.
Zee News touched a peak concurrency of 2,200 and its average concurrent viewership was at 1,800 while all other Hindi news channels clocked an average concurrent viewership of below 1,500.
In the English news genre, India Today TV topped with peak concurrent users at 2,100 and the average concurrent viewership was 1,900 in the 5:00 pm-7:20 pm time slot on Thursday.
Republic clocked a peak concurrent viewership of 2,000 averaging at 1,700.
NDTV 24x7 recorded a peak concurrent viewership of 900 while its average concurrent viewership was 800.
