Abhishek Kumar steps down from CEO role at Balaji Telefilms

Abhishek Kumar has stepped down from the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Balaji Telefilms, the company informed the BSE in a statement. 

Kumar has quit due to personal reasons and the resignation came into effect from closing of business hours on June 15, 2023, according to the company. 

Kumar joined the company in July 2022 and he was looking after decision making, operations management, business process improvement, data-driven decision making, corporate strategy, and more. 

Prior to Balaji, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Jupiter Capital. He was also associated with Niraamaya Retreats as a Board Member. 

With a career spanning over 22 years, Kumar has worked with NDTV, Network 1 Media, Sahara Samay, IBN 7, CNN IBN Channel, Palaash Ventures, Snapdeal, Asianet News Media and Entertainment, among other organisations.
