Marico has reported a 1.34% decline in its spending on advertising and publicity in Q3 of FY23 on a YoY basis.
The ad spends of the FMCG player in the Q3 FY23 stood at Rs 220 crore, as opposed to Rs 223 crore it had spent during the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
However, the company’s net profit for the quarter under review here stood at Rs 333 crore, which is 5% up on a YoY basis.
The FMCG player had earlier generated a net profit Rs 317 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY22.
Additionally, the FMCG player’s revenue from operations was also up 2.6% on a YoY basis at Rs 2,470 crore in Q3 of FY23, as against Rs 2,407 crore it had clocked in during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
