Colors to present new fiction show 'Agnisakshi... Ek Samjhauta'

Viacom18’s general entertainment channel Colors is going to present a new fiction drama ‘Agnisakshi... Ek Samjhauta’ for audience.

The show traces the life of a couple whose marriage has an expiry date. It’s the journey of Jeevika (played by Shivika Pathak) whose dream of building a whole new life with her husband Satvik (played by Aashay Mishra) is shattered on the first night of their marriage.

The show will revolve around their love story and will it end before they get a fair chance?

Produced by Pichchar Studio, the show premieres on January 23 and will air every Monday to Friday at 9 PM only on Colors.

‘Agnisakshi… Ek Samjhauta’ is a story that chronicles the lives of Jeevika Rane and Satvik Bhosle, two distinctly opposite individuals, who are struck by fate and coaxed into a matrimonial union by their families.

Unlike Jeevika, who is happy about the union, Satvik is against it and in a shocking turn of events he hands over the divorce papers to his spouse on the first night of their marriage. Jeevika is a dreamer, who wants a fairy-tale love story and to build a family with the person she loves. Satvik, on the other hand, has already given up on the idea of love and happiness, his only dream in life is to fulfil his father’s wishes.

Producer Srividya Raj from Pichchar Studio said, “We usually see marriages that start with love but Agnisakshi… Ek Samjhauta is a unique love story which starts with divorce. We are excited about collaborating with Colors for a story that explores the nuances of marriage and familial relations.
