‘Love’ is an emotion that binds two people together, but can a love story be born out of the darkest moment? Diving deep into the feeling of love, repentance and an unforgivable wound, Sony Entertainment Television has launched a new show, ‘Kathaa Ankahee’, a Hindi remake of the Turkish drama, ‘1001 Nights’ (Binbir Gece).
Produced by Sphere Origins, the show premiered on December 5. The show will air every Mon-Fri at 8:30 pm on Sony Entertainment Television.
Having enjoyed a successful run in over 50 countries, the show will be presented to the Indian audience with a storyline centred around an unforgettable wound that creates a rift between Katha and Viaan. Reprising the characters - Sehrazat and Onur in the Indian edition are Aditi Dev Sharma and Adnan Khan.
Along with Aditi Dev Sharma and Adnan Khan, Kathaa Ankahee boasts of a cast featuring Sheen Das, Samar Virmani, Ajinkya Mishra and Gireesh Sahdev amongst others.
