Tista Sen, Regional Creative Director, Wunderman Thompson, South Asia has quit the agency after 22 years. Her last working day at the agency was October 31, 2022.
Sen confirmed the development to BestMediaInfo.com and said, “Monday was my last day at WT. 22 years later I’m moving on to newer opportunities and an exciting tomorrow. I leave an amazing agency and amazing colleagues and the best legacy in advertising I have been privileged to receive.”
Wunderman Thompson spokesperson said, “Tista now wants to embark on a new career journey that takes her away from WT India which has been home to her for the past 22 years. We wish her all the best in her next adventure.”
Sen started her career with the ad film production company, Whitelight Productions. Post that, she joined Lowe Lintas as a writer and worked on brands like Johnson's Baby, Stayfree, Cadbury Eclairs, Cadbury Five Star and Oberoi hotels to name a few.
After working for five years at Lowe Lintas, she moved to Ogilvy for a brief period and worked on brands like Asian Paints, Sunlight, Comfort and Cadbury's Dairy Milk. Subsequently, she moved back to Lowe Lintas and worked on brands like Fair & Lovely and Pepsodent for Unilever.
In 2001, She joined J Walter Thomson (later renamed to Wunderman Thompson in 2018). Rising through various positions, she was promoted to the role of Regional Creative Director in 2018 and was given additional responsibility for the Sri Lanka market. Prior to that, she was the National Creative Director at the agency.
She has been ranked among the 20 most creative people in Asia and worked on campaigns that have won numerous metals across the world including at Cannes, Clio and Spikes Asia.
