Tata Consumer Products’ Sagar Boke calls it quits after over seven years of association

Sagar Boke, Head - Customer and Shopper Marketing - Foods and Beverages at Tata Consumer Products, has decided to move on after over seven years of association with the company.

Boke had joined the Tata Group in 2015 as Head of marketing, consumer products business (Tata Chemicals). In 2017, he was appointed as Head of Marketing-Consumer Products Business and Business Head- Spices.

Further in 2019, he became Head- Marketing, Foods Business at Tata Consumer Products. In July 2020, he was elevated as Head - Customer and Shopper Marketing - Foods and Beverages, the role at which he served the organisation for over two years.

Boke took to Instagram to announce his decision to move on from the company.

He said, “After 7 memorable years at Tata Consumer Products and Tata Chemicals, it’s time to say goodbye! These 7 years have been one of the most exciting and satisfying times in my career, for the challenges and opportunities that they provided.”

He then spoke at length about the opportunities he got while working at Tata-  be it the “to launch and build ‘Tata Sampann’ brand” or “to unlock the growth of Tata Salt” and also of “to build ‘Shopper Marketing’ vertical for Tata Consumer Products.”

Boke further thanked the company and said he would announce his next move soon,

“Thank you, Tata Chemicals and Tata Consumer Products for all of this and more. I couldn’t have asked for more! Grateful to the entire team and best wishes to soar high! Off to another very exciting opportunity. Will share the details soon,” he said.

Before joining the Tata Group, he had worked at organisations like Bunge as the Head of Marketing for more than 3 years, he was also the Category Head of Skin Care at CavinKare, and had also served at Godrej Consumer Products, and Dabur.
