Asianet Television Awards 2022 were given out at a function held recently at Adlux Convention Centre, Angamali, Ernakulam.
Several prominent persons from the film industry and socio-cultural spheres were present on the occasion.
The event was attended by a cross section of stars from South Indian film/television industry and had colourful programmes performed by leading Malayalam artistes along with a mix of stars from Tollywood.
Ulakanayakan Kamal Hassan, Jayasurya, Mukesh, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Nikhila Vimal, Lakshmi Gopalaswami, Ramesh Pisharody, Hareesh Kanaran, Dharmajan, Vijay Babu, Nadirsha, Sudheer Karamana, Tini Tom, Neetha Pillai, Narain, Siju Wilson, Edavela Babu, Director Ranjith Shankar, Manikandan Achari, Thesni Khan, Paris Laxmi are some of the leading personalities from the tinsel world who attended the glittering function.
Malayalam Cinema and Asianet honored Ulakanayakan Kamal Haasan as part of the 100th day celebration of the movie "Vikram". As part of this, a special Vikram segment was presented for a duration of 30 minutes and also continued by the dance performance of Bigg Boss fame Ramzan along with more than 60 dancers.
Apart from the announcement and distribution of television awards, Kamal Haasan honored Jayasuriya on this stage who completed 20 years in the film industry. Suraj Venjaramood received the multi-talented award.
Other film/television stars such as Anu Sithara, Durga Krishnan, Kutty Akhil and Rajesh Hebbar performed Kitchen dance, Contemporary dance, which enthralled the audience.
Asianet is all set to telecast “Asianet Television Awards 2022” in two parts, on October 15 and 16, 2022 (Saturday and Sunday) from 7 pm onwards.
