After the national mandate, News18 claims top slot in Hindi belt

News18 Network, which has had both its national Hindi and English news channels as number one for several months, has now claimed leadership across all key Hindi-speaking states now.

In the HSM market, News18 Network has 15.4% market share, making it the largest TV news network in the country.

As per the BARC data (Wk 36 - 39’22, 24 hrs, TG: 15+, HSM), News18 Network has acquired 15.4% market share, making it the largest TV news network in the country.

News18 Bihar Jharkhand is the number one news channel in the state with a market share of 97.7% (TG: 15+, Wk 39’22, All Days).

News18 UP & Uttarakhand is number one with a market share of 28.6%, as compared to ABP Ganga’s market share of 26.2%.

News18 Rajasthan is number one with a market share of 57.9% compared to 1st India News and India News Rajasthan’s 31.6% and 9.6% ((TG: 15+, Wk 39’22, All Days).

News18 Punjab/ Haryana has claimed number one position too with a market share of 32.1%, compared to PTC News, Living India News and MH One Prime’s 30.6%, 22.1% and 10.8% respectively (TG: 15+, Wk 39’22, All Days)

Launched almost 45 days ago, News18 JKLH too has grabbed the top slot with a market share of 39.2% compared to JKL 24x7 News and Gulistan News’ 36.1%, and 24.7% respectively (TG: 15+, Wk 39’22, All Days).

According to the BARC numbers (Wk 39’22, 24 hrs, TG: 15+, HSM), national Hindi news channel News18 India has 15.8% market share, as compared to TV9 Bharatvarsh's 13.0% market share.

Continuing its leadership run, CNN-News18, the English news channel, has also strengthened its position as the number one English News Channel in the country.
