Zee Hindustan has recently hosted ‘Udayman Uttar Pradesh’ event at Lucknow.
The event was held on July 12 on the completion of 100 days of Chief Minister Yogi Adiyanath’s second stint in power in Uttar Pradesh. It was graced by several speakers from the Uttar Pradesh government.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said, “The biggest challenge for us in ruling the state of Uttar Pradesh is to surpass our work done in the last 5 years and do even better. The last 5 years for Uttar Pradesh were glorious and we have to work even better now. We are our competition. Uttar Pradesh is this country’s largest state in terms of population and we aim to make it the number one state in the fields of industry, education, and infrastructure.”
At the Summit, Navneet Sehgal, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Information and Public Relations, said, “Uttar Pradesh is now one of the fastest developing states in the country. We aim to be a 1 trillion economy in the next couple of years. Uttar Pradesh is now a force to be reckoned with.”
The event also had esteemed speakers like Ashish Patel, Minister of Technical Education, Danish Azad Ansari, Member of UP Legislative Council, Jaiveer Singh, Member of UP Legislative Assembly, Dayashankar Mishra, among others who talked about tourism, lower crime rate, education, farming, hospitals, and more.
Pathak also said, “When Narendra Modi ji nominated Draupadi Murmu ji, an Adivasi woman as a Presidential candidate which has never happened before in the last 75 years, the whole country welcomed and celebrated the Prime Minister’s decision”.
Speaking of the health infrastructure in the state, Pathak added, “The state has observed large crowds at the gynaecologist clinics and thus, measures are being proposed to ensure women shouldn’t have to wait for more than 45 minutes for a gynaecologist, for which a greater number of female doctors will be on-boarded.” Continuing, he said, “When the pandemic broke out, the whole world was struggling. If the US or the UK were getting their citizens vaccinated, then India was also doing the same for its citizens at the same time.”
In his keynote speech, Purushottam Vaishnava, CEO, Zee Media Corporation, said, “Media is the fourth pillar of democracy and it is our responsibility to bring to light facts and realities of the state. This event created a platform for the government to showcase its report card and answer the questions raised by the common man. We are very proud to be the voice of the common man and the medium for dialogue between the citizens and the government.”
The event was sponsored by Ghadi detergent, Relaxo, Next Generation Energia, Niva Bupa and Eco links LED lights.
