Unilever has promoted Kartik Chandrasekhar to Head of Oral Care and Skin Cleansing for Developing & Emerging Markets role and as Global Brand Lead of Pepsodent.
In his last role, he was Global Brand Vice-President for Lifebuoy and Pears.
He has been with the company for over 24 years. He started as a Management Trainee at the company. Between 1998 and 2013, he served the company in various capacities including Area Sales Manager, Regional Brand Manager, Global Brand Manager, Regional Brand Director, Food, South Asia, Regional Brand Director, Food, South East Asia.
In 2013, Chandrasekhar rose to the position of Global Brand Director for Lifebuoy. In September 2014, he became Global Brand Vice-President for Lifebuoy and Pears.
Chandrasekhar took to LinkedIn to announce the development. He wrote, “From today, my role will focus on driving category alignment and accelerating business strategies across the markets to deliver strong brand performance. I am excited to get going.”
