Pawan Sarda has moved on from Future Group as Group CMO - Digital, Marketing & e-commerce business.

Sarda has been associated with the Future Group since February 2000, when he joined the organisation as a senior executive and was responsible for handling marketing for Pantaloons. He was a part of the startup team of Big Bazaar in 2001 and was responsible for handling Big Bazaar and Pantaloons till June 2004. In July 2004, he was promoted to the role of Manager Marketing for Big Bazaar. He has also been a part of media buying and planning of all brands at Future Group till 2005.

In 2006, he was handed over the role of Senior Manager, Marketing for Pantaloons (Future Group). In this role, he was responsible for the creation and execution of all Big Bazaar Marketing initiatives, driving relationships across the regional markets, advertising and media agencies and category businesses and consumer research.

In 2007, he became the Chief Marketing Officer for Future Group’s Home Town and E-Zone. In 2008, he was promoted to the Head of Marketing position for Big Bazaar.

In 2010, he became the Chief Marketing Officer for the Group Office at the company. In this role, he became part of the strategy team and provided strategic direction to retail brands, build brand ethos and create a platform to integrate the various retail brands.

After serving for 12 years at the company, he moved to Tata Housing and Development Company as Head - Marketing and Product development ( Domestic & International market) - Tata Value Homes.

He finally moved back to Future Group in 2016 and managed group-wide digital and marketing initiatives including digital commerce for all retail formats.
